Welcome to Home Cookin' Thursday! We've all settled into our first homes, why not start saving some cash buy home cooking! You are a fool with a frying pan? A knave with the knifes? Well, don't worry. We can fix that, and in fact it is the whole point of this segement of the New Adult Life! We make it easy, tasty, and sometimes we care enough to make it cheap. Every week we'll give you a recipe straight from bachelor's oven. Sometimes Semi-homemade, and others a little more difficult. After all your Adults now right? This week though we're going to focus on building your Kitchen Confidence TM. A fancy easy recipe to impress the opposite gender. Guys get ready to wow the chicks. Ladies prepare to convince your boyfriend you can actually cook, and cook well even.

This weeks Semi-Homemade recipe:

Bertolli's Panty Dropper
Ingredients:

1. One Package Bertolli's Chicken Alfredo & Penni (No that's not all that's in it "Semi" homemade, jackass)

2. 1 Cup fresh mushrooms sliced (Sliced= cut into 1/2 centimeter strips)

3. A splash of red wine (Merlot, Pinot Noir. Just buy some, stop being cheap and do something to atleast look classy)

4. 2 skinless chicken breasts.

5. 1/16 cup of milk (smell it first, and pour slightly for about 1 second to get the right amount)

6. 5 Breakfast Sausage links

Directions: Cut the sausage links into 1 centimeter pieces and throw them into a frying pan set at med-high. Move them around about every 30 seconds. When there is no pink left they are done. No worries if they get a little dark. Slice the chicken breasts in half (or buy 4 chicken skinless chicken breast halves instead lazy!) Then throw those bad boys on any sort of grill you have, George Foreman or otherwise. Cook until the inside isn't pink. Easy right? When the outside has turned almost completely white throw the Bertolli's into a sauce or frying pan. Stir occasionally. (Sometime between that and this next step remove the chicken and cut it into eatable strips.) Once the Bertolli's is all melted throw in the Mushrooms, cooked sausage, and grilled chicken. Keep stirring. Wait until it starts bubbling and then throw in the milk. Just a little. Seriously. A little. Keep stirring, unless I say stop keep stirring about every 60 seconds.

Okay now wait until whoever you're trying to impress is watching:

Add a splash of that classy red wine and then stir it in. Hence the dishes name. Let it simmer for about 45 more seconds and serve it with a glass of whatever wine you cooked with. It should be cool enough to eat by the time you plate it and pour some drinks. Looks good, tastes good.

Good Job Chef!
